I live in a mobile home….

We often receive phone calls from customers saying: I live in a mobile home do I have to replace my entire system, or just the outdoor unit?

This is a common phone call and a fair questions. If a licensed HVAC contractor has condemned your system, because of a leaky coil or bad compressor, then generally speaking you do not have to replace the your mobile home furnace. Now, of course, there are exceptions, such as: a) age of furnace; b) past issues with the furnace; and, c) personal preference.

Whenever you decide to replace your HVAC system in your mobile home, we always recommend using a mobile home approved furnace. Personally, I recommend the Miller branded mobile furnace; the E6EB or E7EM models.
